# Create a client workspace

> Explains what a client workspace is and how to create one for agencies to resell branded agents to their own customers.

A client workspace is a fully branded environment where one of your customers can build and manage AI agents under your brand. Your customers never see Brandless — the entire experience appears as your product. You can have multiple clients, each with their own separate workspace, members, agents, and conversations.

## Why create a client workspace

Each client you create gets their own branded dashboard on your subdomain. They'll manage their own agents, invite their team members, and start conversations — all under your brand. This is how you scale your AI offering across multiple businesses.

## Plan limits

Your plan determines how many client workspaces you can create:

* **Starter**: Up to 3 clients
* **Growth**: Unlimited clients
* **Scale**: Unlimited clients (plus self-serve signup available)

If you're on the free plan or have reached your client limit, you'll see an upgrade prompt when you try to add a client.

## Steps

<Steps>
  <Step title="Open the Clients page">
    From your dashboard, click **Clients** in the sidebar.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Add client">
    Look for the **Add client** button in the top right. If you see a message about reaching your limit instead, you'll need to upgrade your plan.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Enter the client name">
    In the dialog, type the name of your client (e.g., "Acme Dental"). This name appears in your dashboard and on their branded workspace. You can change it later if needed.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Click Create client">
    The workspace is instantly ready. The client appears in your list with status **Pending onboarding** (or **Pending sign-in** if they're self-serve).
  </Step>
</Steps>

## Client workspace tabs

Once created, open any client to manage it:

* **Members**: Add team members from the client's company. They'll receive a magic-link invite and sign in at the client's subdomain.
* **Assigned solutions**: Control which agents this client can see and use. Assign, move, or unassign agents here.
* **Settings**: Rename the workspace or delete it (removes the workspace, all agents assigned to it, and every conversation).
* **Onboarding** (self-serve only): View answers your customer provided during their signup flow.
